Pilates exercise is a movement form based around strengthening the postural muscles of the back, buttocks and abdominals. Through these classes, you will improve posture, strength and flexibility. It can relieve stiffness and soreness in tired overworked muscles and greatly reduces instances of back pain. This exercise is suitable for the complete beginner through to the dedicated exerciser, please see the classes section for more information.

The Blackwell Hall pilates groups and 121s are via Zoom. 


Class schedule 


Monday and/or Wednesdays @ 5.20pm

Wednesday @ 9.50am 

Friday @ 10.20am 


Run in blocks of 4 weeks per course. 


121s by appointment. 


We all hope to return to face to face classes and 121s when it is practical to do so.

Maggie Araujo

I have been teaching community based Pilates classes for over 15 years, establishing Pilates classes in Pinner, North Harrow & Harrow Weald. My qualifications are a Diploma in Level 3 Pilates Institute and Specialised Intrinsic Biomechanics. 

Spinesafe Pilates instructor, Body Pump and Body Balance Qualified Instructor. I have been permanently based for over 12 years at Blackwell Hall in Harrow Weald with my Wednesday evening mixed ability class and my Friday morning back care group.
